This policy covers this website. It is written to be read rather than to survive a lawsuit, so it is short and it says what actually happens.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. There is no contact form on this site, no newsletter signup, no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no chat widget. The pages are static files. If you read this site and do nothing else, we do not receive your name, your number or your IP address.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request details, for security and abuse prevention. We do not query those logs to identify visitors.

When you contact us

  • Calling. Our phone system records the number you call from, as any phone does. We use it to call you back and to find your job history if you have used us before.
  • Booking online. The “Book online” buttons take you to our scheduling system at a different domain. What you enter there — name, address, phone, appliance details — is held in that system so we can carry out the appointment. It is not sold, rented or shared for marketing.
  • Nothing else. There is no mailbox, no contact form and no chat on this site. The telephone and the booking system above are the only two ways in.

What we never do

  • Sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
  • Add you to a marketing list because you called about a repair.
  • Share your address with third parties, other than a parts supplier when a part has to ship directly to you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no third-party trackers. Our separate booking system may set cookies necessary for it to function; those are governed by that system's own policy, which you will see when you use it.

Your information, on request

Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will, except where we are required to keep a record of a transaction for tax or warranty purposes — a repair invoice, for instance, has to survive long enough to honor the warranty attached to it.

Children

This is a home appliance repair business. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. We do not backdate revisions.

Questions about this policy go to that number.
