Perlick brings bar-industry hardware into the home. We service the undercounter refrigerators, wine reserves, beverage centers and outdoor units built on it.

Product lines: Signature Series, C-Series, ADA Height Series, Outdoor Series, Refrigerator Columns, Wine Reserves, Beverage Centers, Refrigerated Drawers, Beer Dispensers.

Model prefixes on the data plate: HP15, HP24, HC24, HA24, CR24.

## Faults we see on these

- Overheating from a condenser choked with dust or a front grille blocked by cabinetry
- Condenser fan motor failure in tightly built-in undercounter installations
- Door gasket failure and sagging self-closing hinges on heavy solid and glass doors
- Fogged glass from a failed anti-condensate heater on glass-door wine and beverage cabinets
- Frozen or clogged evaporator drain leaking water beneath the cabinet
- Wine reserve holding the wrong temperature in one of two zones
- Beer dispenser faucet, line and CO2 regulator problems mistaken for refrigeration faults
- Digital control board faults and temperature sensor drift

## What we service

Perlick came out of the bar and beverage industry, and that heritage is still visible in the residential line: stainless interiors, commercial-grade hardware, self-closing doors built for constant use, and forced-air cooling designed to recover quickly after the door has been open. In a high-end Jacksonville home you normally find Perlick in the butler's pantry, the bar, the wine room, or the outdoor kitchen rather than as the main kitchen refrigerator.

We service the Signature Series and C-Series undercounter refrigerators, freezers, beverage centers, wine reserves and refrigerated drawers, the ADA-height cabinets, the outdoor units, and the full-height refrigerator columns. We also handle the refrigeration side of Perlick beer dispensers.

## What actually fails

Almost every Perlick call starts with airflow. These are front-vented undercounter cabinets, and they are frequently installed into custom millwork by a cabinet crew rather than by a refrigeration installer. If the toe grille is covered, trimmed, or set behind a decorative panel, the condenser cannot reject heat. The compressor runs continuously, the cabinet drifts warm, and the failure eventually migrates to the fan motor or the sealed system. A condenser packed with dust and pet hair does exactly the same thing.

The next most common group is doors. Perlick doors are heavy and self-closing. Hinges wear, the door drops slightly, and the gasket stops sealing along one edge — which shows up as condensation on the frame, frost inside a freezer, or a unit that simply never reaches setpoint. On glass-door wine and beverage cabinets, fogged or beaded glass is normally the anti-condensate heater circuit, not the refrigeration system.

After that: evaporator drains that freeze or block and leave water under the cabinet, evaporator and condenser fan motors that get noisy before they quit, temperature sensors that drift, and control boards that fail outright. On dual-zone wine reserves, a single zone running warm is usually a zone-specific fault, not a dead compressor.

## Parts and why they matter

Perlick parts are model and revision specific. Gaskets differ between solid-door and glass-door cabinets and between indoor and outdoor units. Hinge kits are handed. Control boards vary by production run. We take the model and serial from the data plate before ordering anything, and we install genuine OEM parts. A generic gasket on a self-closing door does not hold a seal, and a substitute fan motor changes the airflow the cabinet was engineered around.

For sealed-system repairs — compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier and connecting tubing — our technicians hold EPA Section 608 certification, which federal law requires of anyone who opens a refrigerant circuit. Many shops will not do that work at all and will simply declare a good cabinet unrepairable.

## Independent service and your warranty

We are an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Perlick, and we cannot bill the manufacturer for warranty labor. If your unit is still under factory warranty, call Perlick or your dealer first — we will tell you that on the phone rather than charge you for a visit the manufacturer should cover.

Outside of that window, choosing an independent shop is your right. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because an independent company performed the service or because a part did not come through the factory channel.

We dispatch from 164 Johns Glen Dr in Fruit Cove and work a 40-mile drive radius. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm. The diagnostic is a flat credited toward the repair once you approve the work, and you get a written estimate before anything is ordered.

## Questions people ask

**My Perlick undercounter unit keeps running and never gets cold enough. Where do you start?**

With airflow. Perlick undercounter cabinets are front-vented, and the most common cause we find is a condenser packed with dust or a grille blocked by a cabinet panel or toe kick. If airflow is clear and the box is still warm, we test the fan motors, controls and sealed system.

**Do you service Perlick beer dispensers and tap systems?**

We repair the refrigeration side of Perlick beer dispensers — compressor, condenser, fans, controls and door seals. Faucet, line and CO2 regulator issues are draft-system work and are often what is actually wrong when beer pours foamy from a cold cabinet.

**One zone of my dual-zone Perlick wine reserve is off. Is that a whole new unit?**

Rarely. A single zone running warm usually traces to a damper, a zone fan, a sensor or a control fault rather than a failed sealed system. We diagnose the zone specifically before anyone talks about replacement.

**Can you work on Perlick outdoor refrigeration?**

Yes. Outdoor Perlick cabinets in Northeast Florida deal with heat, humidity and salt air, and condenser fouling and fan motor failure are far more frequent outdoors than in a conditioned kitchen.

**Are you a Perlick authorized service center?**

No. We are an independent appliance repair company with no affiliation to Perlick. We repair the equipment and install genuine OEM parts, but we do not perform factory warranty work billed to the manufacturer.
